Wheee DDP

Well I am so honored to be DDP.
I was away yesterday working... Uh, playing hard with my new best cat pal Mr B. He lets me charge and zoom like I want.
I cannot wait until I read Rumpy's next post. He went outside which was most likely a super fun time. It was when he came back in that was odd. We think he wanted to go back out so he started wailing and clawing at the door! MOL. At furst we all were like "Is he sick? Is he hurt?". MOL. Pops was even like "Hey Bump. Give it a break ok!" MOL. He is going to "forget" that part I bet.
Always fun here with my brofurs and Mss Fitz.

After help from the Cat Daddy, Jackson Galaxy, and advice from another cat behaviorist, it seems that the best situation for Harrison would be to live in a home without another cat."

Hey Cats!
Wow its all over. What a weekend.

The brofurs had a nice little party for me on Friday night. Treats and lots of fun. The best part is that we all live together and look out fur each other. That is the most important thing about family. Caring and loving each other.

Not that the treats and toys were nothing! MOL!

The guys even got me to start playing with them and Pops on the floor. I like to sit ont he tree and catch things out of the air best but... Well.. I am starting to like that ground play. They even have me all caught up in the race around the couch with Fitz and Buttons. I am a lucky cat!

Gotcha Day Coming this Week!

Friday April 27th is my special day! My GotCha day!
Oh my I am going to swoon! MOL No I'm not but I am very happy.

Back then I was living in Kitty Cottage. Now that was very nice but every cat, except our feral furends of course, want a nice home to live in. I remember that day well.

Pops came in with his friend Janet who was showing him the cottage since he have not been there befur. I saw him come in and you know that feeling you get that just lets you KNOW. Well I had that feeling. I followed him up the stairs to the attic spot. I watched and watched. He saw me and smiled. I followed him back down and he went in the small side room to sit in the chair. So I ran up the cat-tree. There I was. There he was. What to do? Oh Cat what to do? So I took the initiative as he was bending over to pet another kitty, I poked him. I poked him again and went "mewwrr".

Pops friend laughed and said "someone wants to be friends". FRIENDS! I wanted to go home with him not just be friends! Well he gave me a good pet but THEN HE LOOKED AT OTHER CATS. Woe is me. Then he left. I was sad. Forlorn. I told the other cats and they knew what I meant. That feeling only happens now and then when there is a Cosmically-Cat-Correct pairing of purrson and person.

I was dejected by being subjected to the neglected. Why Me Ceiling Cat? Why Me?

So life goes on. I was back to looking over the visitors as before and a week passed when I heard that fateful meow. "Toby! Toby! He came back! HE'S BACK!"

Of course being a cat I chilled my paws. Well not really but I made a big show of coming into the room really slowly. There he was sitting on the chair. I look around and sit. I lick my paw. I get up and up the cat tree. Again I reach out and give a tentative meow "Mewr take me home?" He did not have his friend with him but he told me "Well Toby looks like you really need a home. Want to go with me?"

DID I? Yes yes yes. So I got a nice head rub and gave a big purr. He filled out the forms and I had to wait a week of course. Kitty Cottage does it right and checks references.

So the next week I went home with the nice fellow I now call Pop. I met Timmy. Timmy told me about how he had come 6 or so months before and I met Inky. I thought he was the oldest cat in the world. He just may be. But we all got along really well and still love living here.

Thanks Pops! Oh did I mention how handsome he thought I was that first weekend he met me. Well he did. Really!

Wow what an honor!

I hope all my fur friends are having a great time with the good weather. It is very warm here in PA and was 88 yesterday. We were chilling all day on the window seat.

Pops says he is making us a new one this weekend. Wow. It is a bit crowded with the 6 of us as Fitz still does not have a furever home. We like her though cause she is kind of a Tomboy Cat. MOL. She is wild and can run and play wrassle with any of us. Hoo-Cat what a gal.

I have been doing well and just wanted to say hello to all the ladies. Would you all turn the link to Tims page; just the ladies now. Ok, I will wait... Hmmmm... Hmmm... Do-dum-de-do-de-dum... OK Guys are the ladies gone? Good.

I wanted to tell you all that if you get those little gray hairs in your sleek shiny coat, you know so you look, ugh, older, you can nip em out! Yeah you can. I was all kinds of upset when I saw them. Hoo-Cat. What a shock. Well I went over to the Man

Me and Pop

I have really been relaxed of late. Having fun with the bros. Laying on the tree and on the back of the couch(My Fav). Just living large and chilling.

What I really wanted to mention was how we have been playing a whole lot lately. Just about daily we have a super-duper play fest with Pops. He says it is tough when we are all out and about but it has been working as we all stake a bit of floor and have at it.

I like do high play that we call Catch-The-Bird. When it is my turn Pops waves it high and I have to jump or stand tall with paws out. I do real well and catch it a lot. I then jump on the couch and do it again. I get worked up and take off for a minute till I can settle down to play some more. Big Fun.

So after that when I relax a bit I come over and sit on Pops. I did this a lot when I was younger but had stopped for a bit. Now we are thick as thieves. I am in with him every night for reading time too. My spot is staked out and after he goes to sleep I watch and make sure he is safe all night. It is the least I can do.

What a nice life.
