King Joseph - Second Term

This is King Joseph reporting for duty! I've been appointed King of the Diary Page AGAIN! Wow, it really must be the diamonds! For those of you that were wondering, I wasn't able to sell any of them but someone stole them from me because I no longer have them in my urine.

I thought that my page needed a little more updating.......early Sunday morning, February 18th, 2012, we were woken up by loud screaming. Jeska and I were totally freaked out by this. We couldn't see outside, who was screaming, someone was being attacked. Mom came flying out of the bedroom, she couldn't see a thing becasue she forgot her glasses. She was saying Joey, stop it, Jeska where are you. I usually am the one that beats up on my sister and get in trouble. But, it wasn't me this time. It was outside. There was a fight between two kitties. Mom couldn't see who they were but they were up on our front porch. She was able to scare them away. I saw a big black cat out, I think its Brutus. He is the neighborhood bullycat. He just moved into the house that put up the jail fence. We are still not sure what they are keeping behind the fence, probably lions, tigers and bears.

After the excitment, we all settled back down. Then around 2:12 a.m. we all woke up to boom shakalaka boom shakalaka shimmy shake don't let your bones break AFTERSHOCK! Seriously, what's up with the earth in this area. They need to stop growing the soybeans down here because it is giving the earth gas! Seriously!

I've gotta go now, my recliner (throne) is calling my name and I need to take a nap!

Well, I think another full year has blown by. Oh my, I must keep up with my entries.

We had a pretty busy year in 2011. I got sick again, had to go back to the doctor. They said that I don't have diamonds in my urine anymore but I did have a flaming bladder infection. They gave me pills, which I hate to take, but it cleared it up and I am feeling much better now.

In August, well it was pretty scarey and Jeska and I hid for 2 days. The house shook and it shook bad. Things were falling all over the place and there were sonic booms and more shaking. The ground was moving in waves, like the ocean. I heard Mom come home from work early, Jeska and I were under the bed. She said we'd had an earthquake. I'll tell you what, the earth was quaking whatever the earth is. We've had about 100 earthquakes since the really big one that we had in August. I am still not used to them but they are not as scary as they were the first time.

We have some outdoor friends that Mom & Dad feed. They are from the farm down the road. There is Broken Tail (1/2 of her tail was cut off), Puff (her son), Smokey (another son/daughter, not sure), Sammy, Ugg, Shredder, Poppy, Meow and Pickles. There was One Ear and her five children but they vacated and went some other place. Mom didn't like them because they wore black masks, she said that they were not kitties but coons.

So, we have a big happy family in Louisa, VA!

Wow, it's been over a year since I've been online. My mom has worked me into a schedule so that I am feeling better. I have to eat this prescription food, which is nasty, but I am doing okay with it. I get a special snack every now and again which is nice.

The country is still nice. There is a new outdoor cat, Sammy. He is a siamese mom says but has white back feet. He eats on our front porch but he's a nice kitty. Sometimes the possum comes up there but mom runs him off. The possum is not attractive at all and makes me squimish!

We had really big snows last year which was cool to see. Fluff fluff basically lived on the porch during the snow and we found out, she is a girl not a boy. Mom had her fixed because Needy boy had is way with her. Needy boy vanished after she was fixed though.......guess he only wanted one thing from her. She comes around on occasion now but mostly stays with her friend the skunk, who needs a bath BAD!

I am a little bigger than I was before, probably about 18 or so pounds now. The new food has made me gain some weight but I'm not obese, according to the doctor so that's cool! Last checkup we were all good!

I spend my days napping and Dad got me a recliner for upstairs. I hang with him sometimes but mostly with my mom. I love my mom, she's my buddy!

I'm Not Feeling Well!

Dear Diary: Well, I'll be 5 on Saturday. I guess I am now an old man because I've now been diagnosed with crystals in my urine. You'd think that would be a good thing, like having diamonds in your pee but NOOOOOOO, it hurts to pee and I have to eat this special food now. It's not very good. Mom has been trying everything out there and so far, I don't really like anything but the dry. I think she was going to get some of the gravy/morsels today for me to try. I hope it tastes good, I'm starving. Get this though, my sister still gets her food, what's up with that. It made me angry so I bit her. Ha, gotcha back!

But the worse is that Mom follows me to the box every time I go. I cannot pee in peace but I know she is watching me to make sure my diamonds, oh yeah, crystals haven't plugged up my rocket!

There is a new kitty outside, his name is needy boy. He's all black and a real lover to people. I hope he doesn't come inside to live. Mom sorta adopted this cute little girl, got her fixed but she still lives outside. She's very pretty! Her dad is a Main Coon but her mom is a domestic short haired tabby (orange). They call her fluff fluff. She's a real cutie pie!

We still have Pepe' the skunk, Chubbs the possum and Ricky the racoon hanging around the food bowls late a night. Pepe is dumb, he got stuck up on the front porch again. He hangs with Fluff Fluff alot. She gets around!

Ya'll take care now and I'll be updating my diary often to tell you about my new found diamonds. I might sell them, anyone want to buy them!

Hello to all my purrrrrrrfect friends!

Well, I have alot to tell everyone. First, we moved to our new house in the country. It is a very large house, Mom says it's about 5000 square feet. Trust me, I can go upstairs and run full speed from one end of the house to the other and it is sooooo much fun! Jeska and I place chase, all the time. It's great and we love it here.

There are outdoor kitties here as well. There is punkin, fluffy, big boy and mama kitty. Punkin is blind in one eye and very small but she comes most every day to eat. Fluffy is new, he's a kitten. Mama (which is his mama) brought him to the food dish when he was still very small, my human mama loves him and said she would like to bring him inside. He looks like a cross between a maine coon and a ragdoll kitty. His daddy, big boy, he's really fluffy, look like a maine coon with a little bit of ragdoll in him as well. I'm not jealous though, my human mama loves me the best of all kitties! So there!

I did get in trouble the other night. I knocked over my mom's glass of water and it went down into the electrical socket. I almost got shocked but mom yelled loud for me to get upstairs. She loves me because she saved me from the shock! I was just chasing my toy but got a little out of control when I jumped between the couch and the end table in the living room. It was my fault.

Let's see, oh yeah, there is also a skunk that comes to visit outside. He stinks pretty bad, needs a bad.

I have a new doctor, she's nice but I don't like to go. It's different than our other vet was, not quite as plush but I only have to go once a year to get shots. Last time I freaked out mom & dad. They thought I was sick from the shots I got but I was just messing with them, I wanted attention and got alot of it.

Purr diary for July 2008

Wow, it's been a while since I updated ya'll on our new house. So far we are still loving it! Mom and Dad are working on making the outside really nice. They fixed the screened in porch and we are allowed to go out there, that is really nice. I love it, I can see all the birds and watch bugs crawl in the grass.

We have alot of hummingbirds flying around our front porch. That's where Mom has the feeders. I swear the last time I counted there were at least 12 of them. No more seats were left on the feeders and there were more waiting in line. I talk to them alot and they fly down and zoom back and forth in front of the window to say hi to me.

There were two little orphaned kitties that we saw out by our garage on several nights. Get this, they were eating bugs for dinner. Mom and Dad felt bad for them so we've kinda adopted the golden twins. That's what Mom calls them. One evening, one of them was on our front porch, Mom went out there to shew him away and I took off after him too. I thought Mom was going to have a heart attack, she screamed so loud that it scared me. I ran back inside the house quickly................Mom was crying and all freaked out that I had gotten outside. I didn't know what the big deal was though.

Other than that, we just usually hang out and sleep alot in the new house. We are still running around getting our exercise every evening upstairs in the big room. We love it there. Sometimes we run and play to much and well, our dinner comes back up. Mom doesn't like that though.

Our human grandparents come down and visit alot. I like it when they are down, I get more attention and more food from grandpa. He gives me bacon! ( : Yummers!

We went to a new doctor, she's okay but we like Dr. Moore much better. Jeska cried alot at the doctor because she was scared, I was brave, didn't sqirm or cry. Mom was proud!

Finally at the new house

Hello everyone! We are finally living in the country, no more little townhouse in Woodbridge. I'm loving the new place. There are so many places for me to explore. I did, however, get into trouble for climbing on the counters and going up on top of the cabinets. I've been trying to be a good boy but sometimes I fail..........mama forgives me though.

The upstairs is the best. It's all open and me and Jeska just run and chase one another constantly. It's so much fun. We haven't really seen any wild animals but we might someday! Hee Hee

Oh well, it's time for my nap, gotta run!

I've gotten so many emails from so many friends!!!!!!!!!! It's wonderful to be LOVED!

Okay, King Joey has pronounced January 29th as KJ day! Hopefully it will be a major holiday next year and everyone will get a day off from work, With Pay!!!!!!!!!!!

My mom is getting ready to go home from her office so she will be logging off until tomorrow, we don't have internet at the house as it's just a rental unit! She's planning on giving me losts of attention and treats tonight! I'm the BOMB tonight!

Diary Pick of the Day!!! KING JOSEPH!!!!!!!

Wow, thanks everyone for voting me to be Diary King for the Day! I cannot wait until Mom sees me! She will be so proud that I'm such a famous boy!

We only have a few more weeks and we'll be at the new house. We have to go the vet for a week though, Mom said she didn't want us to be alone in the small condo when her and Dad go away on vacation. We cannot go and grandma and grandpa can't come down to watch us. So, we'll go and visit Dr. Moore for the week. Mom made us some nice little blankets for our cages and she says that we will be safer at the vet's for the week. She said she will feel better while she is gone. She did mention that Janelle will be picking us up from the vet, I LOVE JANELLLE! She's so pretty and she loves me too. She likes my sister but me the best! Don't tell Jeska or she'll cry. Janelle's husband, well we are not sure about he. He likes us to much and always wants to hold us. We get irritated with him. Hopefully he won't be with her but I bet he will. We'll deal though!

Not much has happened since I last wrote. We've been sleeping our days away just waiting for our big move to the big house!

GETTING READY TO MOVE TO LOUISA!!!!!!

Hey there! Well, we have about one more month and we will get to move to the new house permanently. We got to go down there over Christmas and we loved it. The upstairs is huge and we could just run and run and run. We had to come back to the small condo though, that was a real drag but Mom promises us that we will be moving soon.

I'm definitely excited!
